Sister Michelle Loisel
Workshop: "Vincentian Family collaborative service for the defense and integration of migrants and victims of modern slavery"
During her workshop, Sister Michelle will present facts on migrants coming to the US Borders, and facts on human trafficking in the US. There will be a dialogue to address the questions; What the Daughters of Charity already do? What we are hoping to do? Are the VIN FAM willing to collaborate with us in what already exists?
Sister Michelle is the Provincial Coordinator of the Office of Migration and Modern Slavery for the Daughters of Charity. She was a nurse serving in the Middle East, Africa, India, and Haiti, as well as in other war-torn countries. She has served as Executive Director of Dawn’s Place, a safe, residential, and holistic program for American and International women who have been victims of sex trafficking. read more about Sister Michelle's work here: https://justfreedom.org/
